NOTICE:  Hey, Everybody!
Thanks to the Utah State Parks and Recreation Department and sponsors Kanab City Library has two park passes that can be checked out to card holding patrons.   This pass provides day-use entry for up to eight people in the same vehicle to 42 parks in Utah.
Patrons will be allowed to check out the pass for one week.  No renewals over the phone.  Patrons will need to come into the library and check it in  and then they may check it out again if no one is waiting for it.  Holds may be placed to reserve the pass, but must be picked up the day the patron is notified of availability.    If the pass is lost or stolen while a patron has it checked out, they will be responsible to purchase a new one.  The cost is $75.00. We just renewed one pass, it will be available until May 2011 ; the other is good until November 2010.  KANAB CITY LIBRARY INVITES YOU TO VISIT UTAH’S  STATE PARKS ON THEIR PASS.  CHECK IT OUT!

Noxious Weed Field Guide for Utah is avaiable for those who took note of the article in the newspaper about ridding Kane County of noxious weeds.
